Happy Bottom, Happy Baby!

Nappy rash, always a subject amongst Mum’s. I think at some point most little ones have suffered from nappy rash, I know both of mine did and my youngest Ellis who’s just turned one still does.

That’s why I decided to take part in the #BepanthenProtects challenge the biggest thing I learnt from this challenge is, it’s not about simply just treating nappy rash it’s about preventing it in the first place. Which is exactly what Bepanthen does! It forms a transparent breathable layer which helps protect your baby’s skin from the irritants and rubbing that can cause nappy rash.

We incorporated Bepanthen into our nappy changing routine, every nappy change I applied Bepanthen and over the 2 week period we undertook the challenge I noticed a distinct difference with Ellis’s skin. It wasn’t as red when I changed his nappy and he didn’t suffer from any nasty sore nappy rash which is of course amazing and a complete success! As a Mum I always feel so bad changing his nappy when his little bottom is so sore, so not having to worry about that as a Mum has been fantastic!

I applied a thin layer of Bepathen ointment at every nappy change, it was very easy to apply with a flip top lid and not messy at all. It also comes in 2 handy sizes, I kept the bigger 100g by our changing mat and took the smaller 30g one out with us in our changing bag which is very convenient.

As a Mum I love to find products that I would honestly recommend to other Mum’s and hand on heart. I would absolutely recommend Bepanthen and will continue to use it on Ellis and if I can persuade my husband that he really would like a third child then I would without a doubt use it on that baby too! Fingers crossed he changes his mind!
